I love disco.

I came-of-age in the gay nightclubs of the 80s and it gave me an indelible fondness for high-energy dance music.

I love the voluptuous strings and diva vocals of original 70s disco; the electro-cheese bass squelchers of the 80s; and the big beats of contemporary house and nu-disco.

Disco is about celebrating the highs of life – and finding strength through the lows. It is pure exuberance and joy.

Its purpose is to make you move, preferably in the company of others.

It connects me with my spirit; it’s my happy-clappy church with shiny disco ball altar.
