Introducing 100 Happy Words

100happywords

Earlier this year I participated in the 100 Happy Days challenge. I needed more happy in my life and so every day for 100 days, I took a photo of something that made me happy and posted it on social media. One of the unexpected benefits of the challenge – besides increasing my happiness – was the collection of 100 photos that captured “happy”.

As I was coming to the end of the 100happydays, I decided to use this “100 day challenge” framework to get my writing flow happening again. So I signed up for 100 Words challenge. 100 Words involves writing 100 Words (exactly) a day for a month – and submitting the micro-pieces daily to the website.

I’ve just completed my first month of 100 Words, using the 100happydays photos as the subject/source/inspiration for each day’s writing. I still have 69 days to go but I thought it might be apt to begin logging the results of my writer’s unblock here …

I’m calling it my 100 Happy Words project …
