I’m not sure what made me happiest: whether it was the food being so incredibly awesome, catching up with an old friend, or sharing food with someone who was just as enthusiastic as I was about our carnivore’s delight menu.

It’s probably all of the above.

The food really was amazing – four types of meat and bread.

I’m very conscious about eating animals. If a critter has to die for my dinner then its flesh must be honoured and appreciated.

On this day, the pigs, cows and chickens brought much happiness.

I will miss the joy of a shared-meat meal.
