I usually work with things that are yet to exist: Things that are conceptual rather than concrete; possible configurations of elements rather than a set of finite outcomes.
As such, I often wonder if my ideas, projects, schemes, plans will ever fully come to fruition. Will the idea become reality?
Sure, it’s a place of excitement and possibility, but it’s also riddled with uncertainty.
Some days, all I know for sure is that the sun rose and will, probably, set.
I’m ever aware that the rainbow, while beautiful and inspiring, is an optical illusion.
Even so, I continue the chase.
