I’m usually an “any ol’ colour as long as it’s black” kind of person but sometime in the last few years my visual senses went chromatic. I’m beguiled by colour – particularly if it’s saturated and naturally occurring. As such, I’m forever diverting from my path to not just smell the roses but also examine their intricate detailing. Pansies, ranunculus, gerberas, lilies, and yes, roses – every kind of flower seems to grab my attention. While I understand its functional purpose, I marvel at the effortless beauty of nature. How did I miss such elegance of design? It’s just so darn perdy.
