I visit my cat on a Sunday.

When she sees me, she yowls, runs up to me and demands attention.

After a quick pat, she runs into the backyard, stops and looks back at me as if to say, “Well, are you coming?”

I follow her to underneath the clothesline where she puts on any Olympian display of grass-rolling – stopping only to check that I am watching.

I lie on the grass beside her and ask, “Have you missed me Sen?”

She rolls a few more times and then gives me the look that says, “You’re back!”

It’s sen-sational Sunday.
