I’m a cat person.

Sure, I have had dogs in my life but I prefer the little furry critters who only want your company when they’re cold or hungry; who look at you with contempt when you disrupt their 18 hour sleep; who see a closed door as a grass-is-greener question requiring an urgent answer.

This year a little chocolate brown dog walked into my life and turned my beliefs upside-down.

I discovered dogs could also look at you with withering disdain and only want to lie on you when they’re cold. Sometimes, a dog can be an honorary cat.
