I start things – projects, groups, books – with nary a thought for where they will end.

It’s all about giving it a go.

One project will morph into another, then into another and then another. I usually end up in delightfully unexpected places.

It’s an approach that works for me. It keeps me curious and engaged.

But sometimes, it’s nice to see tangible outcomes.

Sometimes, it’s nice to set a task and complete it.

100 days ago I was wrestling with writer’s block.

I set out to write 10,000 words – 100 words every day for 100 days.

Today, I celebrate completion.
